Condition Monitoring

The function of conditional monitoring is to allow maintenance of a main component to be scheduled and actions taken to avoid the consequences of failure, before that failure occurs.

Once the failure has been detected, the deterioration of its condition can be monitored and a strategic plan imposed to rectify the failure before it occurs thus saving time and money through long unnecessary downtime periods.

Condition monitoring allows the plant manager/owner to plan ahead ensuring replacement parts are onsite, cranage, man power and transport are pre-arranged for any major component replacement works.
